Jayce Ramsey Jayce Ramsey 6'5" | 255 lbs | DL/TE St. Cloud Tech | 2028 MN may go down as the biggest breakout recruit of the entire season, regardless of graduating class, especially when talking film and game tape. The St. Cloud Tech junior first got on our radar after he visited Valley City State in September, which helped lead to an NDSU game-day invite, and Ramsey visited Fargo and the Bison on Oct. 31. The Week 1-4 highlights show off a prep 5T and TE, and I can definitely see him sliding inside in college or playing OT, which is a good thing and speaks to his overall versatility. Ramsey is noticeably athletic and toolsy, and if the size is anywhere near verified, he’s a bit of a unicorn athletically. He’s a big-bodied kid on film, can use his length, keep his hands active, and use strength at the point of attack to shed blocks around the LOS and make tackles behind the LOS.

Ramsey is also an almost humorously large pass-catching perimeter presence on film. However, it gets even more impressive, as the reported 6’5, 255 lber. possesses beautiful ball skills and body control when playing the rock in the air. The St. Cloud product completely overwhelms second- and third-level defenders thanks to the size, length, and strength combination, and he shows some twitch and lateral agility as a pass rusher. Also shows an impressive get-off and changes direction well for a big guy in pursuit of quicker QBs and is a real series-wrecker as a pass rusher. Ramsey has the chance to be a good one; pay attention early!
