About Jay

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a two-way lineman who plays physical and disciplined football. On offense, I work to protect the quarterback and open up the run game, and on defense I bring explosiveness and effort to disrupt plays and control the line.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a team-first mentality and a competitive drive to get better every day. I stay disciplined, coachable, and focused, bringing energy and leadership on and off the field.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Attending a Christian high school has helped me grow not only as an athlete but also as a person. Community service is a key part of our curriculum, and it has taught me the importance of giving back and supporting others. Through football, I’ve developed leadership, teamwork, and discipline, while service has reinforced responsibility, humility, and the value of putting others before myself.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that is strong both academically and athletically. I am especially interested in schools with well-regarded engineering and/or computer science programs, while also being part of a competitive football program where I can continue to develop as a student-athlete.
