I was seriously impressed with how easily Ragland sheds off blocks. He has a wide variety of moves combined with his speed, quickness, and strength that completely overwhelm offensive linemen. Ragland ended last season with 46 total tackles (28 solo, 16 for loss), 4 sacks, and one fumble recovery.

Ragland is highly athletic and plays with a ton of speed and pursuit- he’s a terrific run defender who can track and hunt down the ball carrier behind the line of scrimmage and in the open field, never allowing for any big gains. I was incredibly impressed with how easily Ragland sheds off blocks, he has a wide variety of moves combined with his speed, quickness, and strength that completely overwhelms offensive linemen. Ragland had an incredibly productive sophomore season- ending the year with 42 carries for 298 yards and 3 TDs on offense, with 46 total tackles (28 solo, 16 for loss), 4 sacks, and one fumble recovery. Ragland has picked up a lot of attention from the next level recently, picking up offers from UAB and Georgia Southern, with plenty more on the way.
