Played two games as a junior, has tape readily available. Reps against Downingtown East and Conwell-Egan can be seen below. Boyd also participated in the annual Thanksgiving Game against Central, adding to his limited junior tape pool.

Football and recruiting aside, after missing multiple games due to a gunshot injury earlier in the season, simply seeing him back in uniform on Thanksgiving was meaningful in itself. Regardless of the stat line, regardless of what his tape looks like, his presence on the field marked an impressive and inspiring return. I don’t have enough on tape to provide Boyd with a new and improved evaluation, yet I stress that his return from injury will likely prove more about the young man than any stat line could. I’ll be sure to keep my eyes on the junior QB moving forward.
