Jaxson shows good explosivness and has a good hip bend. He has quick, violent hands, moves well side to side and has a good quick burst to his game. He does well with bull rushes and does well with his speed moves. He’s an EDGE rusher who should garner late looks in recruiting, he’s been an ultra productive on field producer.
Jaxson is a versatile defensive lineman. He can line up as an interior rusher or out wide as an EDGE rusher. That duality allows him to be on the field no matter the situation. He is quick off the line, has quick, active hands and does a good job of beating his man and showcasing good hip bend. He’s a player blossoming into one of the better defensive lineman for the class.
Young has good size and will be asked to help fill a void left behind by a lot of production on defense. He has a good first step, has a good bend at the hip, and has good lateral quickness. He does have active hands, and he is someone who is going to be asked to step up on the defensive front.
