Despite being one of the younger linebackers in the group, Jaxon Sawyer Jaxon Sawyer 5'6" | LB/ATH Northern Burlington Jr. Greyhounds (Youth Program) | 2031 NJ already showed plenty of promise at Who’s Next in January. He played with good technique and demonstrated the ability to shed blockers effectively, allowing him to stay clean and get to the football. His performance offered an encouraging glimpse of what he can become as he continues to develop. With his technical foundation already in place at a young age, there is plenty of room for Jaxon’s game to grow.

Sawyer is a young 2031 prospect with ample time and room to grow, but he did some nice things at the Prep Redzone Next New Jersey Who’s Next Middle School Exposure Camp. During indy drills designed to work on punching, grabbing and shedding blockers, Sawyer had a nice first step. Played with his chest up and his back at a nice angle. Again, he’s young, but a focus on speed will do wonders for him this off-season.
