How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a disciplined linebacker who does my job first. I play fast, physical, and smart, and I’m always around the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I play with controlled aggression. I’m intense, physical, and relentless, but always disciplined and focused on my assignment.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Football Rugby Wresting

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong tackling fundamentals, play recognition, speed to the ball, and disciplined aggression. I’ve also grown as a leader and communicator on defense.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes. One challenge was learning to control my aggression and play disciplined every snap. I worked on film study, technique, and trusting my reads, which helped me become more consistent

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that values academics, strong coaching, discipline, and player development, where I can grow as both a student and a linebacker

Sawyer is a young 2031 prospect with ample time and room to grow, but he did some nice things at the Prep Redzone Next New Jersey Who’s Next Middle School Exposure Camp. During indy drills designed to work on punching, grabbing and shedding blockers, Sawyer had a nice first step. Played with his chest up and his back at a nice angle. Again, he’s young, but a focus on speed will do wonders for him this off-season.
