Wade’s top weapon in the passing game will be 2026 WR Jaxon Murray Jaxon Murray 6'2" | 170 lbs | WR Linsly | 2026 WV . He’s a long and athletic receiver with natural ball skills and playmaking ability that makes him a threat out wide and a difficult 1-on-1 cover. No film from his junior year will have him under the radar as a prospect, but we got to see him at a camp this summer, and Murray still has the ability and upside we saw as a sophomore. If he posts film this season, expect D2 programs to start extending Murray offers as a multi-sport standout for the Cadets.

2026 Linsly WR Jaxon Murray Jaxon Murray 6'2" | 170 lbs | WR Linsly | 2026 WV is someone we’ve been very high on since he broke out as a sophomore in 2023 for the Cadets. Unfortunately, we haven’t gotten any updated film from his junior year to see how he’s progressed since then, but we got to see him up close at Tuesday’s showcase. Murray is an impressive athlete with a good frame for an outside receiver to continue filling out. He’s a plus athlete who plays three sports for Linsly, performing well at all of them. Murray is a natural playmaker and pass catcher as a big target with ability after the catch as well. Colleges will need updated film to get on their radar more, but his talent level will warrant D2 looks with possible FCS attention with a big senior year.

. Murray just finished up his first year of high school football for the Cadets and performed very well during his first season at this level. Linsly needed some pass catchers to step up this season after graduating some high-level receivers a year ago and Murray did so in a big way. He averaged 24 yards per catch on 19 catches for 457 yards and 5 touchdowns in his sophomore campaign. Murray should build on that momentum heading into his junior year while building a better rapport with our #2 2026 QB

the next two years. He’s a three-sport athlete who’s also a very quality basketball and baseball player with a very good athletic base to build around. Murray has very good size for a wideout at 6’2 170 with natural playmaking ability and athleticism that makes the transition back to football much easier. He has the speed and quickness to develop the technical side of the position while also having natural ball skills to pair with his athleticism. While he’s still raw right now, if Murray sticks with football it may just be his best sport out of the three, and could see himself as a sought-after college football prospect by the time he’s a senior.
