Hunter has been pretty dominate in 2025.
Hunter has been on an absolute tear in 2025. It doesn’t matter if he lines up on the offensive or defensive side of the ball, Hunter seems to be just too much for other teams at times. The Zizzers have also noticed this pattern of dominance, so they deploy Hunter in various spots on along the defensive line. On the inside Hunter is a monster; he controls the line of scrimmage and makes it almost impossible for teams to establish a decent running game. On passing downs from the edge or inside is where Hunter absolutely shines. He is so fast and powerful that he can almost take over a football game.
On the offensive side of the ball, Hunter makes huge holes for their back Jackson Taylor every Friday night. He knows how to use his leverage, and he’s so strong in his trunk that he can bully opposing defensive lineman.

Hunter is a “Bad man” for the West Plains Zizzers.
Hunter is a movable chess piece for the Zizzers. He has taken snaps at defensive tackle, defensive end, and linebacker. Every college football defensive coordinator loves a player with some versatility, and that’s Hunter in a nutshell. He can beat you in a variety of ways, and most of the time, he is the biggest, fastest strongest player on the football field.
I think he is at his best when he can pin his ears back at defensive end and rush the passer. Hunter plays with good leverage and has above-average pass-rushing technique. He also plays the run extremely well, and his football team depends on him to make plays on the defensive side of the ball, and he seems to always deliver for them.
Hunter is in store for a great senior season.

is set to be one of the fastest rising defensive linemen in southern Missouri. Jaxon has been invited to camps in the past, but I am surprised the decorated defender has received so little attention from schools in the region. Expect that to change by the time summer gets here. Coaches like Jaxon’s shed technique and tackling ability displayed consistently finishing plays in space as a run defender. Good instincts and a fluid change of direction get displayed quickly finding the ball despite misdirection in the backfield. Jaxon’s combination of length, power, and closing speed displayed pressuring the pocket with a bull rush highlights his ability to be a versatile pass rusher in college.
