Jaxon Gass Jaxon Gass 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB Franklin Simpson | 2027 State KY jumped onto my radar with a strong sophomore season. He lines up at inside linebacker where he is at his best against the run. Gass does a great job of flowing downhill to the ball carrier in a hurry and fighting through blocks on his way there. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he runs his feet through contact to secure the tackle and not allow any extra yards to be gained. Jaxon finished last season with 83 tackles and four tackles for loss. Gass has also shown the ability to make plays in pass coverage, coming away with one interception as a sophomore. Jaxon doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep a close eye on over the next couple seasons.
