About Jax

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play fast, smart, and aggressive. I’m a high-IQ, high-motor athlete who studies the game, communicates well, and does whatever the team needs, whether that’s making plays in space, blocking, or leading on both sides of the ball. I take pride in effort, toughness, and being reliable in big moments.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m disciplined, competitive, and coachable. I love to work, I love to learn, and I take pride in doing the little things right every day. I’m team-first, steady under pressure, and I bring a positive, hardworking mentality to every lift, practice, and game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes. I’m involved in several school and community groups. I maintain Honor Roll, and volunteer with youth sports camps in Blacksburg. I’ve also received academic recognition for maintaining strong grades while playing multiple sports.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve built leadership through being vocal, encouraging teammates, and holding myself to a high standard every day. Playing multiple positions has taught me how to communicate, adapt, and put the team first. I’ve also learned responsibility and service by helping with youth sports camps and giving back to younger athletes in my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was recovering from a minor foot injury last winter. It tested my patience and work ethic, but I stayed disciplined with my rehab, training, and conditioning. The experience taught me resilience, the value of consistent effort, and how to push through setbacks while staying focused on my long-term goal of playing football in college.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college in Virginia where I can compete at a high level in football while continuing to grow academically and personally. I want a program that values hard work, coachability, and teamwork, and where I can contribute and improve.
