Switching up the style a bit, Garrett is a 6’2 bruiser of a running back with great contact balance and break tackle ability. The power back out of Katy rushed for over 300 yards and added a few impressive receptions as a junior in 2024. Expect these numbers to skyrocket this season as Garrett should see a heavier workload and more opportunities for dynamic plays. Even with the giant frame, Javion demonstrates good burst through the line of scrimmage and uses his vision and patience to set up his blocks. And for those who aren’t blocked, he takes care of them with stiff arms and truck sticks. Garrett should experience a major breakout in 2025, building upon his current offers, which include Cal, Memphis, and Wyoming.
