Jase has been someone I’ve had my eye on this offseason. He attended our Stock Up Showcase in January and has been doing well with the Charg1ng 7v7 program. He should be a two-way player for the Greyhounds, starring at safety and wide receiver. He’s got a knack for getting to the ball with strong hands and coming down with it. He’s a good athlete who will show it in OCC play this upcoming season.

Jase has come up to varsity as a DB and has been an impact player for the Greyhounds. He’s a versatile piece who should be able to compete on both sides during the event. This camp can start the push that Jase needs going into 2026.

Jase is a young player in Grove City’s squad, but he’s broken through into the defense, playing as a safety. Jase is a smart defender, although he profiled much more as a receiver coming up through 7v7 events and combines this past offseason. He’s able to pick up on crossers and get to the ball to cut off the pass. He can defend downfield with great positioning and awareness of the ball. He’s not aggressive towards the ball, but he does make smart plays and takes what is given to him. When he gets offensive snaps as a receiver in varsity action, Jase will see a further improvement to his stock.

Rodriguez was an impressive receiver on both days and just knows how to get open. There were a bunch of times they needed a conversion and Rodriguez is the one who stepped up and made the play. He’s got great short-area quickness and acceleration so he’s able to make guys miss. He’s got soft hands and looks the ball all the way in. He’s quick, shifty, knows how to get open and has all the makings of an elite inside receiver.
