About Jarryn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play fast, physical, and with purpose. At wide receiver, I explode off the line with violent hands and elite route discipline that creates separation against anyone. I attack the ball in the air, and I take pride in winning matchups. At free safety, I read quickly, close fast, and play with range

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Off the field, I’m laid back, respectful, and focused. But once I step between the lines, I flip the switch. I bring energy, intensity, and leadership every rep—holding myself and my teammates to a high standard. Whether it’s 7 a.m. film or Friday night lights, I show up the same way: locked in and ready to compete.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I maintain a 4.0 GPA while taking college-level courses. I’ve been recognized with academic excellence awards and am consistently on the Principal’s Honor Roll. I know academics matter, and I carry myself with discipline and professionalism on and off the field.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership isn’t something I ask for—it’s something I earn every day. My coaches and teammates trust me to set the tone with energy, accountability, and composure. I lead by example in the weight room, on and off the field, and in how I carry myself. I know real leadership is about listening, doing the little things, and making others better.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Balancing academics at a high level while playing two varsity sports has taught me how to grind. Taking college-level courses, training year-round, and still performing at a high level in both football and basketball hasn’t been easy—but I’ve never made excuses. I’ve learned how to manage pressure, control my time, and stay focused on long-term goals. Every challenge has made me more disciplined.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a program that values hard work, discipline, and development. I want to compete at the highest level possible, earn my degree, and grow as both a player and a man. I’m looking for a school where I can be coached hard and be part of a culture built on excellence. I want to win, but I also want to be pushed to become elite on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
