The star Concord back has also moved to defense, and it’s clear Thomas belongs on the field. He never runs out of energy and reminds me of the Energizer Bunny. He just keeps going even when he should be out of energy. On the year Thomas has 1125 yards and 17 TDs on the ground with 109 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, 2.0 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. Wherever he is on the field he produces at a high level.

Arguably the most consistent RB in the class, Thomas, is having another great season and put up another big night on Friday. I love how Thomas has developed throughout his high school career and his frame is the biggest winner. He’s put muscle on in all the right areas, he’s smart and has plenty of tread left on his tires. Friday he ripped off multiple big runs because of his ability to find a hole, get small, and shoot out the backside. He finished the night with 130 yards and 3 TDs on the ground as they got the win against NorthWood.

His recruitment has been a condensed one, as his first offer rolled in from Ball State in March, and Western Michigan, Army, Air Force, Navy, Yale, and Southern Illinois offered before May 30th. However, once the summer visits rolled around, Thomas visited with the Purdue Boilermakers, earned an offer, and committed the next day. He’s since taken an official to West Lafayette as well. A in-person camp performance didn’t ignite this P4 recruiting flame, but it came during the Summer Camp SZN, so I’m throwing Thomas in here anyway.

Posted 1,484 yards and 20 TDs, plus 47 receptions, as well as 93 tackles, 7 TFLs, and a FF as a linebacker in 2023. A smooth and silky RB with long strides and big-play burst and top-end speed, Thomas can be slippery or physical through contact and tackle attempts and I love how he sees and utilizes every inch on the gridiron. Thomas displays a powerful lower body that generates forceful, intentional cuts and can work through weaker tackle attempts at his lower body, and he will drop his pads and run through defenders in the open field easily and smoothly. I also appreciate his strong hands, production as a pass catcher, and is a great asset in the passing and screen game from the RB position. Overall, Thomas is a fun-to-watch, smooth, and confident RB who can beat tackle attempts in a variety of ways, has a nose for the endzone, and is comfortable in space. Jaron Thomas Jaron Thomas 6'1" | 195 lbs | RB Concord | 2025 State IN is a tough, physical running back who combines power with surprising elusiveness. Jaron is a powerful runner who isn’t afraid to take on defenders, consistently demonstrating physicality in his play. His excellent balance allows him to stay on his feet through contact, making it difficult for defenders to bring him down. Despite his size and strength, Jaron is surprisingly elusive, able to make defenders miss with his agility and quickness. He shows great determination on every run, always striving to gain additional yards after contact. Jaron’s current skill set already positions him as a standout running back who can lead his team’s ground attack with toughness and resilience.
