Scott is a defensive lineman who consistently sets the tone in the trenches with his strength, technique, and relentless motor. A year ago, as a seventh-grader at the Prep Redzone Next Middle School Camp, the world should have been awoken to the ability that Jarell Scott Jarell Scott 6'0" | 280 lbs | DL Weiss pflugerville | 2029 State TX has. After dominating our camp, he went on to have a stellar year at Hopewell Middle School in Round Rock, Texas, as both a Defensive Lineman and a Running Back–believe it or not. After seeing him last year, I said he could play either Defensive End or on the interior defensive line, and it was that quickness that allowed him to play Running Back. A year later, I think he’s pretty much solidified that he’s an interior Defensive Tackle and is easily a two-gap player up front.
