It was a tough call to make for our “Week Two” offensive player of the week but after a lot of thinking, it became clear to me that Curtis earned this honor after a productive, gritty performance last week. The Eagles quarterback showed why he is top player in the state for the TN2026 class with how he led his team from behind to defeat D2-Class AAA power Ensworth, 42-41. The Tigers had a hard time stopping Curtis as he produced five touchdowns on the night while punching in a two point conversion to win the game. This might have been his best overall performance to date throughout his high school career.
