With his older brother already playing at Mississippi State, Jarcoby Hopson Jr Jarcoby Hopson Jr 6'2" | 195 lbs | ATH Lake Cormorant | 2025 State MS looks to be the next member of the family to be a highly recruited player. A natural safety, Hopson shows the ability to rotate around a secondary and play both in a free position or roll down into the box. Hopson has great size for the position already at 6’2″ 200 and looks like he could continue to grow. With his natural speed and burst, Hopson is a force around the field. Against the pass, he has fluid hips and can turn and run with any receivers. He shows the ability to cover the post at a young age. Against the run, Hopson is a heavy hitter who knows how to close angles and break down before engaging with the ball carrier. He holds offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Florida, LSU, and many others.

Mr. Hopson plays the Star position for Lake Cormorant, and the 4 Star Under Armor All American is having a great start to the year in terms of his recruitment. He started the month off by attending the Reliaquest Bowl down at Raymond James Stadium. In the time between now and then he has gained 7 offers from programs that looking to acquire his services. Here recently Jarcoby took a visit to Arkansas that appears to have gone well. Hopson also received an invite to participate in the Under Armor Next Camp Series on February 26th, in Atlanta, Georgia. Hopson is a fast and instinctual athlete who makes big time plays on virtually every snap. Jarcoby plays with such intensity and confidence that having him on the field is such a big advantage. Hopson has received various offers including one from Coach Prime at Colorado. In addition the 4 star prospect has attracted attention from at least 12 other programs who have seen his potential. This young star will be a force to be reckoned with as he finishes out his high school career and an impact player on a coliigate roster in a few years.

Hopson has made his name known by putting bit time hits and shutting down receivers on tape. Jarcoby has excellent size and skill to play at both the free safety position as well as strong safety or even outside linebackers. His team did not see too much success however Hopson still proved himself to be a 4 Star Athlete deserving of offers which he has received. Programs such as LSU and Florida State have noticed his talent level and offered him. Hopson will be a force to be reckoned with as he continues in his high school career.
