Ehret managed the offense well last year, but he has more to give the team and could take a big step forward in 2026. A two-year starter, Ehret’s yardage actually dropped last season, but he made smarter decisions and fewer mistakes. He’s a calm, veteran presence behind center and keeps the Crusaders in games, even when things start to get off track.

Also a standout baseball player, Ehret’s volume actually ticked down as a junior, and he didn’t hit many leaderboards in our initial postseason sweep. But a deeper dive shows a guy who is clearly developing as a passer. He improved his completion percentage, was more selective with his throws, and dropped his interception rate. That helped Christ the King put together a strong 7-4 season.

I’ll take the blame here. Ehret has shown more than enough to be a ranked player, and I just missed him in the last update. He’s a gunslinger who can create in the pocket and isn’t afraid to throw into coverage, which I like. As he grows in consistency, expect to hear his name more often.
