Lining up at wide receiver, he displayed a fluid, athletic build with shifty hips and sharp route-running, quickly becoming a primary target for Gavin. He showed great body control with smart adjustments mid-route to secure catches. On defense, Howell made a big impact at safety, jumping a route to pick off a two-point conversion attempt by reading the quarterback’s eyes and reacting decisively.
