About Jamier
Expert Analysis
Mike Bey | Prep Redzone Scout
In 2022, Jamier helped the Winton Woods Warriors to a 12-win season where they held opposing offenses to 14.1 points per game and advanced to the 3rd round of the playoffs. He plays as an OLB. Against the pass, he shows good quickness to penetrate the LOS quickly. He displays good play speed combined with a great motor in pursuit and finishes up with a sack. Against the run, he quickly reads run/pass and displays excellent instincts as he takes the correct angle in pursuit. He plays with very good range before making the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.

Because of a stacked varsity defense, Bryant, played on the JV during his freshman season. He’s a very impressive athlete that does a great job of firing out of his read-react. He plays the game downhill. Jamier has top shelf speed and acceleration that he uses to shoot gaps and run down plays in pursuit. When he blitzes, he does a great job of getting home. He’s doesn’t shy away from setting the edge on the outside or taking on lead blocker in the middle. Jamier’s dad serves as Winton Woods linebacker’s coach, so we know he’s constantly getting coached up in technique and how to play the position. As Jamier continues to grow and get stronger, he has a very bright future.
