He is a 2024 reclass recruit who will attend Phillips Exeter in New Hampshire in fall 2023.

His film was a pleasure to view.  His quickness  and speed are well above average and special. A scat back style runner who can wiggle in and out of running lanes to find the end zone.  Has such a low center of gravity that makes it difficult for defenders to locate himself when he attempts to run inside the tackles. He is also a threat in the passing game and can be used in the slot or be released from backfield. He is seen as a home run threat with play making abilities that can be used on multiple offensive schemes.

A solid recruit who earned offers as a 2023 recruit from Army, Brown, Long Island, Navy, and the University of Rhode Island before reclassifying.  He will now have another year to gain additional interest from additional college coaches.

With that said, he could draw additional Div 1 colleges to his offer list.  The star running back makes things look easy while being positioned in the backfield. It was nice to see him make some plays from the slot positon. He runs very good routs, his hands are very reliable and he has such a low center of gravity that he easily finds the running lanes while zig zagging in and out from avoiding defenders after the catch. He also gets upfield quickly after the catch.

Jamezell Lassiter Jamezell Lassiter 5'8" | 190 lbs | RB Deerfield Academy | 2024 State New E is positioned at RB for his team.  Identified as the best RB in Rhode Island coming out of the 2023 class. The senior had big gains on the ground that helped open up his teams passing game.  Lassiter carried the ball 33 times for 185 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead his team to victory. A sure-fire D1 recruit who has D1 offers and will likely get more college interest after a great senior year that he has accomplished.

Got a chance to watch Lassiter up close this summer at the 2022 New England Bone Camp where I also met him.  His overall athleticism displayed fluid movement patterns, loose hips, balance and body control, elusiveness, and foot quickness.  Solid recruit who has D1 -D3 offers and will likely pick up more attention after Jr. season.  He is a competitor my nature and a gentleman by name.  Coaches will like meeting this young fellow.
