Down at Ocean High School there is a talented CB named James Sobieski James Sobieski 5'8" | 160 lbs | ATH Ocean | 2025 State NJ . At 5’8″ 160lbs, made 59 tackles and also plays basketball for the Spartans.

Sobieski follows rule #1 and does not let his matchup get behind him. He breaks on the ball nicely, making contact as the ball arrives to avoid drawing a penalty. Should he not get there in time, he has the presence of mind to get his hands in the mix and bat the ball away. If in off coverage, Sobieski flies up on screens and short passes to force the issue. He is a hustle player, consistently winning on specials as a gunner and becoming the first man down the field. For the 2023 season I think Sobieski should improve his jam technique when playing press coverage.

There is much to like about Sobieski and the way he plays the game. He is fast, instinctual, and savvy. Be on the lookout for this prospect on the rise.
