He is a versatile receiver who can line up as a boundary receiver or in the slot, he has a diverse route tree with exceptional ability to win his intermediate routes and has the speed to house it with the ball in his hands. As a defender, Figiel is a physical cover corner with exceptional ball skills and dissects a play early on and will make a play on the ball. He is a player who is not afraid to get dirty, will come up in run support, showcases physicality, and will lay a hard hit to set the tempo for the defense. With his ball skills, anticipation and physicality, he would be an exceptional free-roaming safety. Overall he is an athletic playmaker who is a power 4 level player and will be a starter at that level.
