The 6’4″ 295-Pound Prospect, displays a solid frame for the position, and even play as a LB, in some schemes for his squad. Cocozzo, is an excellent lead blocker, who displays good speed and unlimited strength. His footwork is excellent, and on run reps, he can create massive gaps across the LOS. Cocozzo, is an elite Lineman, who is a good get for Rutgers.

Cocozzo, projects mainly as a Tackle on the field, but has the strength and physicality to play as a Guard. On the line, he displays good footwork and understands leverage, allowing him to deter opposing rushers out of position. He displays good strength, and can create gaps in the run game.

The only “Big” athlete here is Cocozzo. He played offensive line and linebacker for Stillwater, and at 255 pounds, he is probably the biggest linebacker in New York. Cocozzo moves so well in space that you would think he is 220lbs max, and when he blocks, he is consistently violent. He is a player whose best position is probably TBD until he is an upperclassman and you see how he continues to grow. If he can get big enough, there is no doubt he is one of the most effective IOL prospects in New York, but there is potentially a future at defensive end or he could even stick at LB. There are some unknowns about positioning from a recruiting standpoint, but one of the most intriguing overall players in New York.
