Smith is a taller, long-limbed receiver who projects long-term as a deep threat. He is more of a build-up-to-speed player, but he has a natural stride to him and the top gear to split safeties and separate from the defense once he finds it. He is tough to match strides with and shows the ability to win above the rim. Smith is extremely underrated with D1 tools. He could give smaller schools access to rare traits at that level.
