Jamel Polnett is a dominant DB who’s found a ton of success in Huffman’s secondary this past fall.
“Polnett is a talented coverage corner who has a knack for getting his hands on the ball. He’s quick on his feet, has impressive speed, and does a great job tracking and reacting to the ball mid-air, constantly breaking up and picking off passes all over the field.
Polnett is just as impressive as a run defender. He flies downhill, works his way to the ball carrier, and can provide huge hits/wrap up the ball carrier to prevent big runs from breaking out in the open field. I think Polnett’s versatility is his best trait; he’s an impact defender on every down. I think we’ll be seeing a ton more from him this fall.”
Polnett was a huge asset to his team’s defense this past fall. I’m excited to watch him this upcoming season- I think he’s gonna bring a ton to Huffman’s defense.
