Throwing for nearly 2700 yards and 28 touchdowns was impressive enough by itself for Jamel, but when you add on rushing for nearly 500 yards and 9 touchdowns, you have one of the more productive quarterbacks overall in the state of North Carolina. As a passer, Jamel has some nice touch on the deep ball and can place it where only his receivers make a play on it on a consistent basis. Jamel also shows the ability to make accurate throws out of the pocket for big gains as well, with nice velocity on the ball. I think Jamel’s arm strength is pretty good overall, he was able to hit all areas of the field throwing the ball consistently. Jamel does have one offer from Elizabeth City State, and I think he’s going to be a guy to keep an eye on during the upcoming camp season.
