Jamarien Graham Jamarien Graham 6'0" | 165 lbs | WR/DB James Kenan | 2028 State NC (2028 ATH) from James Kenan High School earned Top Two-Way Player honors after an outstanding performance on both sides of the ball. Graham played every snap of all six games and never seemed to slow down. Defensively, he did not allow a single reception while consistently locking down opposing receivers. On offense, he found the end zone multiple times and proved to be a dynamic playmaker whenever the ball was in his hands.
An elite athlete with exceptional versatility, Graham showcased skills that many may not get to see during the fall. James Kenan has traditionally been a run-heavy program in a run-heavy region, limiting opportunities for athletes to display their full skill set in space. This tournament allowed Graham to put his athleticism, coverage ability, and playmaking talent on full display, and he took full advantage of the opportunity. He is undoubtedly one of the top rising prospects to watch in the Class of 2028.

Graham didn’t have a ton of opportunities in James Kenan’s run-first system last year, but the rising junior has good hands and route-running nuance. He does a lot of the finer things right: creating leverage, separating off the line, making defenders guess, and that suggests that he could see his production and recruitment take off in 2028.

Jamarien Graham Jamarien Graham 6'0" | 165 lbs | WR/DB James Kenan | 2028 State NC might be the most surprising prospect on this roster — and possibly the most complete receiver in the group. Coming from a run-heavy program, his opportunities to showcase his pass-catching ability have been limited. But when you see him work in space and run routes consistently, it becomes clear: the talent is real.
Graham can flat-out run. He has the speed to stretch the field vertically, but what makes him different is how polished he is as a route runner. He understands leverage, spacing, and timing. His play comprehension is advanced, and he doesn’t just rely on athleticism — he wins with detail.
Add in strong, reliable hands and the ability to adjust to the football naturally, and you’re looking at a total package. He has the tools to line up inside or outside and be productive immediately. Keep an eye on this prospect — as his opportunities increase, so will the attention around his name.
