Hidden down in the southern part of the state is a dynamic back who had a great year last year and is off to another big start this year. Powell is well-built, dynamic, and has great vision. He’s a patient runner who lets his blocks develop before he hits the hole. He had just under 1000 yards and 9 TDs last season as well. This past Friday, he helped the Dragons run away from Charlestown. With 2 2nd half TDs and over 100 yards, he was a big reason they got the win and should be a big part of the offense this fall.
