Martin is a twitchy player on the edge who moves more like a DB but has the frame and explosiveness of an EDGE. He’s relentless, and his ability to change direction is top-tier. He can find multiple ways to win and lives in the backfield. He’s got the lateral ability to string out runs and shut them down. He’s disciplined and truly understands how to contain the edge. His snap timing and ability to read the line are noticeable, and when offenses try to chip him, he can split the blocks and make both look foolish. His 52 tackles, 7 TFLs, 8 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles only tell a part of the story. The tape tells the rest.

Jamarcus Martin Jamarcus Martin 6'3" | 207 lbs | EDGE/DB Northside High School | 2027 State IN is a very athletic edge prospect. Like Clarke, he is 6-foot-3, but Martin is very explosive with a quick first step and a very high motor. Takes great angles to the quarterback and is a very physical tackler. Martin works to the whistle, taking great pursuit angles and playing with very high effort. It is very surprising he has not yet received any college offers.

Martin really started to come on during the second half of the season. He posted multiple double-digit tackle games over the final 4 games, one in which he had 3 sacks against Homestead. With 52 tackles, 7 TFLs, and 8 sacks on the season, Martin showed a ton of flash and looked the part.
