Harvey brought arguably the best pure athletic profile in the entire camp. His verified-level speed, explosiveness, and frame immediately stood out, and he consistently showed the ability to match up with virtually any type of receiver throughout one-on-ones. Very few players could create lasting separation against him.
What made Harvey dangerous was his recovery ability and competitive toughness. Even when receivers initially gained leverage, his recovery speed and relentless attitude repeatedly brought him back into the rep where he disrupted plays at the catch point. He simply refused to stay beaten.
Beyond the traits, his instincts and footwork consistently flashed in competitive situations. Harvey thrived in one-on-ones and looked like a defender whose athletic ceiling and competitive edge could eventually translate into a legitimate next level prospect
Harvey made a strong case as the most dynamic athlete in the showcase. His twitch, explosiveness, and 4.3 speed consistently showed up when the ball was in the air, allowing him to play confidently at all three levels of coverage. He stayed patient in his backpedal, trusted his speed, and used quick feet to remain in phase rather than panicking or grabbing. Strong enough to hold up in press, Harvey routinely squeezed routes to the sideline and minimized throwing windows. His vertical explosion allowed him to contest and high-point passes, reinforcing the makeup of a high-ceiling, blue-chip caliber defensive back.
