Wood is a throwback football player with a versatile skillset to be an impact player at multiple positions on both sides of the ball. At 6’3” 235 lbs. some would call him a jumbo athlete that will line up as a TE, LB, slot, H-Back, or full back. He’s a competitor that plays the game downhill and physical. Love the way initiates and explodes through contact with good leg drive and hip extension. He’s a high IQ player that puts himself in position to make plays and understands his assignment. Good natural strength in the weight room translates well to on the field but could really take his game to the next level by continuing to develop his speed and lateral agility. Still uncommitted but holds nine D3 offers to his name.
