This was the senior that I was most looking forward to seeing. He lived up to my expectations. Jake dominated the game. He is a huge, overpowering OT at 6’3″ 300 lbs. Especially when the weather reached its peak, Jake was the leader of an OL that completely took over the game. He and his teammates owned the trenches. His power was a huge mismatch and allowed him to completely remove DL from the trenches and control where they went. His heavy hands delivered devastating punches, and his feet were light enough to give him the ability to not only position himself to have the leverage, but also get himself up to LBs. Also worth noting, his power was a huge advantage towards A-F’s ability to shut down the inside run game.

Another WI-based standout was among the OL group. The 6’3″ 298 lbs OL out of Adams Friendship. The big man has the potential to be a breakout prospect in an exceptionally talented Class of 2024 here in WI. Jake impressed me throughout the day. His body control, fluidity, quick feet, and anchor strength all stood out to me throughout the day. We got a look at his coachability too. His hand placement struggled early in one on ones. One of the coaches pulled him aside for a bit and his performance improved. It was great to see that cherry on top because his feet were able to keep him well positioned, we just needed to see that hand placement be better. As that becomes more consistent watch out. Take a peek at his highlights below.
