Is there a better name for a quarterback that throws an exceptional, nuanced long ball than Jake Long Jake Long 5'11" | 180 lbs | QB West Essex | 2026 State NJ ? The West Essex quarterback gets really good airtime on his deep bombs. Moreover, Long often manipulates the touch on his throws and can effectively lead receivers quite well, leading to serious YAC. I would say that Long plays the quarterback position with some moxie, as we see him move around and step up in the pocket nicely. I cannot believe I would say this, but some of Long’s best throws are against his body, or at least unorthodox. Along with his moxie, Long looks like he has some guts – challenging cover 2 safetieds on fade balls.
