Jake Harmeyer Jake Harmeyer 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Cooper | 2023 State KY is another 2023 linebacker that I have been high on for a long time. He is coming off an outstanding junior season in which he finished with 98 tackles and two sacks. As a pass rusher, he shows a quick first step and uses his speed to his advantage to run by opposing offensive tackles. He plays with a very high motor and shows the ability to make plays all over the field. Once he gets to the ball, Harmeyer is a very physical tackler and does a great job of securing tackles in the open field. He is also reliable in pass coverage, showing good route recognition skills and the ability to break on the ball to break up passes. Jake doesn’t currently hold any offers but I expect them to come soon as he has received a lot of college interest and has the skill set to be successful in the college game.
