Jake Flores
About Jake
Expert Analysis
Michael Huntley | Prep Redzone Scout
I first saw Flores at the Allegiance Offensive Lineman camp and he stood out, largely due to his frame. He is lengthy, has the frame to add size and very athletic.
Flores has the quickness and first step to keep up with speedy edge rushers. He has improved his balance which helps him defend power rush moves as well and can replace his hands quickly.
He committed to Washington in February and plays in the most competitive high school league in the country.

Flores is long and it was my first time seeing him in a camp setting.
Sometimes he needs to be more aggressive with his initial punch. He will occasionally get too deep in his set and can be vulnerable to power moves.
Flores has the quickness to get deep with edge rushers trying to beat him to the outside.
He has a lot of offers including NC State and Boston College who have offered recently. Flores has the frame to add some weight and be an even better prospect.
