About Jake

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Offensively- Playmaker, very elusive, and smart. Defensively- Good tackler, technically sound, very smart in coverage.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Very hard working. Servants heart. Leader by example and voice.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Regular member of FCA. Actively involved in church youth group at Danville First Baptist Church.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Regular church services. Work out 5 days a week while playing other sports. Always helping teammates with positive reinforcement and rides to workouts. Have gone on mission trips.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Partially blind in one eye. Got it corrected at a young age and use contacts to help. It was a struggle early, but I have learned to adjust.

What type of college are you looking for?

Would love to go to a Division I college. Grandfather and Great Uncle both played Division I football in Power 5 conferences. Grandfather (USC), Great Uncle (BYU). Grandfather also played professionally for Washington Redskins, and New York Giants. Father played Division II football at Arkansas Tech and was an All-American. Also played Arena Football.
