Roosevelt tight end Jairis Shaw Jairis Shaw 6'6" | WR Roosevelt-Eastvale | 2027 CA announced his commitment to Eastern Washington back in August before the season started.

Shaw has six catches with 56 yards and a touchdown through just two games according to MaxPreps. He was a standout at the Mission Viejo passing tournament with his size causing tough matchups.

Shaw is the third player from California in Eastern Washington’s 2027 recruiting class and the lone offensive skill player.

Recent Offers: Eastern Washington

Notes + Insight: Shaw is one of the more under-recruited receivers in the state and would be a criminal steal at the FCS level with so much upside and growth potential at the next level. He is a long and rangy receiver with elite downfield speed and a huge catch radius with highpoint abilities when making contested catches. He should have a monster senior year for Roosevelt and could very well see FBS schools come in and offer.

Shaw is every bit of 6-foot-6 and was causing matchup problems all day for defenses. He is a long strider with nice speed and doesn’t just rely on his height to win matchups. Eastern Washington just offered him and I expect more to follow suit.
