Brooks proved why he’s one of the top defensive backs in the state. Fresh off of some D1 offers, he consistently won matchups with a combination of physicality and solid footwork. Lined up against some of the best receivers at the showcase, Brooks did well and often came out on top. Even when beaten off the line of scrimmage, his elite recovery speed allowed him to get back into position and make plays. Brooks was a clear standout at the DB position—on his new home field, no less. He recently transferred from Canarsie to perennial powerhouse Abraham Lincoln High School.
