ahlil “Juice” Bryant (DB/WR, Ashley, Senior) was everywhere for the Screaming Eagles in Week 6, turning in one of the top two-way efforts of the season. Defensively, he was a difference-maker in the secondary with 7 tackles and an interception, showing his range and ability to read the quarterback. Just as impressive, Bryant also led the offense, hauling in 3 receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown, proving he can swing games on both sides of the ball. His versatility and leadership make him the kind of player Ashley leans on heavily, and this week he once again rose to the challenge.

Once again, the best player on the field was Jahlil “Juice” Bryant — and this time, it was his defensive performance that stole the show. Bryant racked up 7 tackles and came away with a clutch interception that halted a promising Laney drive. He was a force against both the run and the pass, flying around the field and making impact plays all night long. The only thing that could slow him down were cramps, but even that couldn’t overshadow his phenomenal effort. A true two-way standout.

is a technician at the cornerback position. With a strong blend of size, speed, and physicality, he checks all the boxes for a next-level defender. Opposing quarterbacks rarely tested him, which is a testament to the respect he commanded on the perimeter. When the ball did come his way, Bryant showed sharp footwork, fluid hips, and aggressive hands at the line. While he didn’t get many chances to fill the stat sheet, his presence alone helped shut down one side of the field. Quietly dominant, Bryant is the type of corner you notice more when the opposing offense starts looking the other way.

is a true defensive playmaker with the size, physicality, and versatility that college coaches love. With a frame that could easily add 20 pounds, Bryant projects as a player who could thrive in the box at the next level while maintaining his coverage skills.
A coach’s dream at defensive back, Bryant combines football IQ with an aggressive, high-motor style of play. At the Carolina Coaches Combine, he stood out as the most physical corner on the field — consistently setting the tone in every rep. His ability to cover, hit, and adapt makes him one of the more intriguing prospects in the Class of 2026.
