About Jaelin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a poised, confident quarterback who thrives under pressure. I pride myself on reading defenses, making smart decisions, and delivering accurate throws in any situation. I’m equally comfortable running a fast-paced offense or controlling the tempo, and I use my athleticism to extend plays when needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is simple: outwork everyone. I approach the game with discipline, humility, and focus, knowing that preparation creates opportunity. I’m a student of the game who studies film daily, and I value being a leader on and off the field. Teammates know they can count on me to bring energy, accountability, and a team-first attitude every single day.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I am a member of the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Program, where I served as the club Treasurer for the 2024–2025 school year. This experience taught me responsibility, accountability, and leadership beyond the football field.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership skills by taking responsibility for my team on and off the field. As a quarterback, I understand the importance of clear communication, accountability, and keeping my teammates focused. I value teamwork and know that success comes from working together, not just individual effort.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

As a freshman, my school brought in a new Offensive Coordinator who had his own quarterback. While I was still new and adjusting to the speed of high school football, I had to prove myself on the field, in the classroom, and in the film room. Even though I only received a few snaps my freshman year, I stayed disciplined and outworked that quarterback every single day.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that combines strong academics with a competitive football program. My goal is to play at the highest level possible while also earning a degree that sets me up for success after football. I want a program where I can contribute, grow as both a player and a leader, and be part of a team culture that values hard work, discipline, and family.
