The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Class of 2027 DE/TE prospect showcased next-level traits before suffering a torn ACL prior to halftime. In just one half of football, Morgans recorded five tackles, one sack, and 1.5 tackles for loss, flashing the disruptive ability that makes him such an intriguing prospect. His combination of length and athleticism immediately stood out, as he used his frame effectively to control the edge and collapse space. Morgans demonstrated a quick first step and the ability to convert speed to power, driving blockers backward and affecting plays in the backfield. His motor ran consistently, and he showed strong pursuit skills while tracking the football. Even in limited action, his physical tools and instincts were evident, reinforcing that his upside remains extremely high. Although the injury cut his season short, his Week 1 highlights provide clear evidence that he possesses the attributes to compete at the next level once fully healthy.

He blocks well on the edge and goes and blocks outside linebackers. He engages with them and drives them well down the field. As a pass catcher, he did a good job. He could clean up the route running, but he catches the ball well. He is good in particular at high-pointing passes thrown towards him in one-on-one situations. Morgans has a ton of potential and should be a bigger contributor this season.
