Ford has a developing frame with good athletic traits and plenty of room to continue growing physically. He shows good instincts and ball skills and has already flashed the ability to make some impressive interceptions. Ford saw some varsity action as a freshman at corner where he proved to be very reliable in man coverage. He does a great job of opening up and using his speed to run with receivers to mirror their routes. When the ball is thrown his way, he does a great job of reacting with perfect timing to make a play, finishing his freshman year with one interception and seven pass breakups. He also recorded 30 tackles and three tackles for loss this past season. Ford will be a player to pay close attention to as he continues to grow and develop over the next few seasons.
