The Gophers’ offensive line was solid all night. Stevens stood out with his size and his play. He put at least one defender on the ground with a pancake block. The senior blew open a big hole, resulting in a six-yard touchdown run. He moves well in space and has a good pad level despite his 6’5 frame.
Stevens is a giant of a prospect from a small-town team who schools need to take a chance on. His strength pops on film immediately, as he has zero problems displacing defenders into the dirt in the run game. He has explosive get-offs when down-blocking and his foot speed for a prospect his size is impressive. Even though his pad level is high at times, his frame and tenacity warrant a look from NSIC and MIAC schools.
