Dunning is a very versatile prospect playing QB, CB, and punter for Lamar and is tied for 3rd amongst 2027 DBs for interceptions. Measures in at 6’4 160-pounds. 167/251 for 2513 yards, 66.5% completion rate, 24 TDs, 8 INT, 38 total tackles (all solo), 1 TFL, 6 INT, 7 PD, 17 punts for 652 yards getting it 4 times inside the 20. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, jumping, and good speed. He’s a poised and confident QB who makes quick decisions on the fly. He’s very accurate and has a good arm. Defensively, he has a good back pedal. Fluid hips to match WR breaking into their route. Very good man and good zone. Very good closing quickness and good timing on PBUs. Very good ball tracking and catching. He’ll catch it in front of the WR and get good return yardage. Dunning is an aggressive tackler as well. Good punter too. I love how he impacts the game in all 3 phases, and colleges should take a look at his play.
