I’m a pro-style quarterback with a strong understanding of the game, having grown up around football and learning strategy from an early age. Yes, I’m active in several clubs and organizations outside of sports. I’m a member of the Beta Honor Society, Young Life, and Atlee Community Church, and I also serve as a coach for Hanover Youth Basketball League. What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through football and other activities, I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills, especially as a varsity quarterback where communication and accountability are key. Coaching youth basketball and working multiple part-time jobs have taught me responsibility, patience, and how to connect with people. I’ve also learned perseverance and mental toughness by overcoming challenges in sports.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, right before my junior season, I had an injury that prevented me from stepping into the starting quarterback role. While it was a difficult setback, it taught me patience, perseverance, and how to contribute to my team in different ways. I stayed committed to my recovery, kept learning the game, and supported my teammates, which ultimately made me a stronger and resilient player and leader.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will challenge me both athletically and academically. On the field, I want a program where I can continue to grow as a quarterback and contribute to team success. Off the field, I’m looking for a strong academic environment that will prepare me for life beyond football. Finding a school that values both athletics and academics equally is important to me and my family

Question I Want Answered: How much buzz can Turnage create for himself with time dwindling?

I’m out of the loop on all things Turnage. He doesn’t have much on his X account, unaware if he has a Hudl either. Even if Turnage had tape, I wouldn’t turn it off so that I can watch him with a completely blank slate. What I want to know is, at this point in his football career, what can Turnage show us at this combine that can make us excited enough to share his name with local D3s? Is it natural arm talent, is it athleticism, is it accuracy, is it fundamentals? What will Turnage slash at this event? If he is a viable transfer option for a big-time program, it’s likely he’s got talent to show, just a matter of actually doing so. Excited to see what he has in store.
