About Jackson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I love playing football with my teammates. Smart, accurate, on time and make good decisions on the field. I can scramble and make plays if I need to, but I love reading a defense and putting the ball where it needs to go.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like to think of myself as a team first player. If I have to hand off 30 times to win, I'll do it. If I have to pass 30 times, I'll do it. I want to win with my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play baseball and football at Carmel, which is the largest school in the state with 6K kids. I love both sports. I've received a scholar athlete award my freshmen and sophomore years.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Sports have taught me many life lessons. How to work with a team and handle adversity. The baseball team every winter does a community service project at the Carmel American Legion handing out food to less fortunate.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've had normal setbacks like everyone else. I guess I feel like I get over looked a lot because I am quiet and reserved person. I am confident in myself but I don't like to show off. So, because of that I get overlooked and that motivates me. Recently, my Grandpa got diagnosed with stage 2 prostate cancer and he has a big impact on my life. I think about him all the time.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am a loyal person, so I am looking for a school that is loyal and wants me to be a part of their program long term. I want to play at the highest level and be coached by the best.
