About Jackson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an athletic, decisive leader on the field. I am unafraid to make the plays necessary to further my team's progress on the field. Athletic, but admittedly raw in the QB position. Very eager to learn skills and compete accordingly.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I strive to be a humble leader and not ask my teams to do anything I wouldn't do myself on the field. I am driven to be successful, and competing brings me joy.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Club baseball (Phillies - Central Coast, CA), high school basketball & baseball. Member of CSF, and the Italian Catholic Federation (ICF Branch #291).

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Active communicator, respected leader, and proven athlete. I have volunteered consistently with ICF for more than 15 hours every spring (Lent) and give back to my school community. I also volunteer at Prado Day Center providing food to the homeless. I am eager to travel, frequently visiting my siblings at college in Spokane, WA and Boston, MA, with plans to travel to Italy for Easter.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In the Fall of 2024 (having never played football before) I tore my hamstring off the bone, and was millimeters away from needing surgery to screw it back together. I had to sit out the rest of football season (six weeks) and then a majority of basketball season (another six weeks). When I was finally released to play I decided to never take for granted my ability to play sports.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like a college that values the whole person, while also offering an education to take me beyond sports. I recognize everyone's window for sports closes eventually, so I want a college or university that will provide the resources, experience, skills and connections necessary to help launch me into my adult life.
