It’s really impressive seeing how Hughes can create wide open lanes for the ball carrier, he does a great job with double teams and in isolated situations, frequently moving defenders against their will. Hughes has a lot of potential as a lineman as he has some very impressive raw skills with his strength, power, and bend. When you pair those with his build at 6’4 290, it makes him a really difficult player to beat in the trenches. Keep an eye on him going into this next season, his junior season will be a big year and Thompson is going to benefit from his play!
